TN PWD Apprentice Recruitment 2024: Apply Online for 760 Graduate and Diploma Posts
The Tamil Nadu Public Works Department (TN PWD) invites online applications for 760 Apprentice Vacancies under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, 1973. Eligible candidates who graduated in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024 in Engineering, Technology, or Non-Engineering disciplines can apply. The application process is conducted through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal.

Eligibility Criteria
Graduate Apprentices (Category I)
- Full-time degree in Engineering/Technology from a recognized university or institution.
Technician Apprentices (Category II)
- Full-time diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized State Council or Board of Technical Education.
Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices (Category III)
- Full-time degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Humanities (e.g., BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA) from a UGC-recognized university.
Stipend
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹ 9,000/- per month
- Technician Apprentices: ₹ 8,000/- per month
Selection Process
- Shortlisting: Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will receive an email notification and must appear for verification at PWD Chennai.
