Naval Dockyard Apprentice Hiring 2025: 275 Trade Apprentice Positions
ITI-certified Indian nationals, both male and female, are encouraged to apply for the Naval Dockyard Apprentice Recruitment 2025 by the Ministry of Defence (Navy). The Naval Dockyard Apprentices School in Visakhapatnam (DAS, Vzg) is offering 275 Trade Apprentice opportunities for training. Depending on the trade, the training will span either one or two years. Stipend Details
₹ 7,700/- for candidates undergoing one-year training.₹ 8,050/- for two-year ITI certificate holders.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 14 years.
- For hazardous occupations: 18 years.
- Candidates born on or before 2nd May 2011 are eligible.
- Educational Qualifications:
- SSC/Matriculation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
- ITI (NCVT/SCVT) certification in a relevant trade with at least 65% aggregate marks.
Selection Process
Shortlisting:
- Based on marks secured in SSC and ITI in a 70:30 ratio.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called in a 1:5 ratio per vacancy, adhering to reservation norms.
Written Examination:
- Mode: OMR-based test with 50 multiple-choice questions.
- Subjects: Mathematics (20), General Science (20), and General Knowledge (10).
- Duration: 1 hour.
- Each question carries 1.5 marks; no negative marking.
Interview and Document Verification:
- Candidates will be invited for interviews in a 1:2 ratio based on written exam merit.
- The interview includes oral testing and verification of documents.

Fill out your profile with details such as education, trade preferences, Aadhar, PAN, and bank details. Upload required documents and ensure 100% profile completion.
